Norman is currently the Managing Director of Blake Group Advisors. He is also a principal with the W Group Solutions in Chicago as well as being a principal with Dr Connection Benefits. He focuses his time on creating and coordinating opportunities between these entities. He was a Senior Vice President at Merrill Lynch for twenty-four years before starting Blake Group Advisors. He has been part of private equity investments including real estate, insurance, oil and gas production, green energy solutions, Electronic medical records and pharmaceuticals.
He received his bachelor’s degree from The University of the South, Sewanee in 1979. He studied in Bregenz, Austria for a year in college. He completed an apprenticeship with World Trade Commodities on the floor of the NYMEX. He worked toward his MBA at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA before starting his career with Merrill Lynch.
He has been married to his wife Camille, for twenty-one years and they have three children ages fourteen to eighteen. They live in Memphis, Tennessee. He is an active cyclist, golfer, a former marathoner and triathlete who completed the Hawaiian Iron Man Triathlon.
