Dr. Pearlberg assumes the role of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at HC Smart and HC Smart with a vast array of experience as Medical and Surgical Directorships at various organizations, including:

America’s Health Choice Medical Plans, Inc. — Medical Resources — Eye Surgery, Inc. — Lima Eye Surgery, Inc. and Director of Ophthalmology for Chen Medical Centers.

He currently is in practice at Vision Specialty Care, Inc. in Miami, FL and serves in the capacity as expert peer reviewer for AllMed Healthcare Management, Inc. in Portland, Oregon.

He has lectured to physicians nationally for major ophthalmic entities such as Alcon and Allergan and is medical consultant for Tissue Engineering Refraction, Inc., a California based firm.

Dr. Pearlberg believes strongly in quality medical communication and has been Medical Consultant <On-Air> for FOX 25 NEWS in the Midwest and regular — physician in residence — on “The Joe Franklin Shows” WWOR TV 9.

In addition, his background as a classical violinist — in association with world renowned artists — has afforded him a special gift to express those feelings with passion when doing medical stories of human interest and communicating medical issues to the general public that affect us all.

He assumes his new role at HC Smart with the same fervor and enthusiasm to which he is accustomed in his continual pursuit of excellence.
